August 8, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area – The Beijing Renji Yichuang International Convention Center was abuzz with excitement as the World Robot Conference 2025 grandly opened here. This annual flagship event in the robotics field, under the theme “Making Robots Smarter, Making Embodied Intelligence More Capable,” gathered global attention, showcasing the latest achievements and future trends of robotics technology.

The conference is structured around three core themes: “Industrial Development,” “Innovative Applications,” and “Technology Integration.” Over 400 leading scientists, international organization representatives, academicians, and entrepreneurs from around the world will engage in exchanges and discussions focusing on industry trends, practical applications, and innovative breakthroughs in robotics. Currently, industrial robots are deployed across 71 major categories and 236 sub-categories of the national economy, with robot density in manufacturing rising to third highest globally. Humanoid robots in China have achieved major breakthroughs in mobility and dexterity, placing them among the global top tier, with promising applications in housekeeping services, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.
