It provides academic exchange platforms at various levels and in diverse forms for acoustic science and technology workers, promoting independent innovation through academic exchanges, technical consultations, and popular science activities in the field of acoustics and related areas. The society has contributed significantly to the advancement of acoustic technology and the development of acoustics-related industries in Chongqing. The professional expertise covered by the Chongqing Acoustics Society is at an advanced level domestically, with certain specialties such as ultrasonic electronics and ultrasonic medicine enjoying internationally recognized influence. Currently, the society has over 500 individual members and more than 20 institutional members.
