Qingwen Technology Supports Peking University History Museum's Renovation and Reopening, Honoring the Centennial of the May Fourth Movement!

   After nearly a year and a half of upgrades and renovations, the Peking University History Museum has reopened. On the opening day, the exhibition "Peking University and the May Fourth Movement—Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the May Fourth Patriotic Movement" was officially launched at the museum.

The exhibition is divided into three sections: "Background of the May Fourth Movement," "Outbreak of the May Fourth Movement," and "In-Depth Development of the May Fourth Movement." It features over 70 precious images and displays more than a hundred physical artifacts from the May Fourth era, including manuscripts, publications, academic works, and badges. The exhibition systematically highlights Peking University's pivotal historical role in the May Fourth Patriotic Movement and the New Culture Movement, showcasing the intellectual and academic prosperity of the period and explaining the origins and development of Peking University's tradition of "Patriotism, Progress, Democracy, and Science." Additionally, the exhibition emphasizes the historical process of the Chinese Communist Party's founders studying or working at Peking University, where they began reading Marxist works, spreading Marxist ideas, and contributing to the establishment of the Chinese Communist Party.

Adjusted Exhibition Themes and Expanded Space
In addition to the special exhibition on the first floor, other sections of the museum have been reorganized. The renovated museum not only features expanded exhibition space but also a more open and immersive layout.

   Qingwen Technology's Contribution
Qingwen Technology proudly participated in the equipment upgrades for the basement levels (B1 and B2) of the museum using the "Doctor of Directional Listening" system. This technology controls sound directionality, allowing audio to be projected like a flashlight beam within specified areas. By deploying multiple "Doctor of Directional Listening" units, the space can be divided into precise acoustic zones, enabling visitors in different areas to enjoy distinct audio content without interference. The installation allows each exhibit to tell its unique story directionally, ensuring that even closely placed exhibits do not acoustically disrupt one another. This provides every visitor with an immersive and personalized listening experience.
